Electrical Isolation

Pipelines shall be:

Electrically isolated from other pipelines and structures that are protected by impressed current systems
Electrically isolated from other structures that could drain current from the pipeline cathodic protection system
Compatible with adjacent structures and associated cathodic protection systems.

Electrical Interference

Interference with adjacent structures induced by the pipeline CP system needs to be addressed.
